In 2014, Jai Tirath of INC was the winner in this seat beating Inderjeet of INLD by a margin of 3 votes which was 0% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Jai Tirath of INC won this seat defeating Inderjit of INLD by a margin of 4,666 votes which was 5.4% of the total votes polled for the seat.
