There were a total of 1,99,861 registered voters on the electoral rolls for the 2024 Assembly election in Rai Assembly constituency, of which 1,07,457 were male, 92,396 female and 8 of the third gender. In the 2019 Assembly elections, there were a total of 1,74,882 registered voters, of which 95,806 were male, 79,066 female and 10 from the third gender. In 2014 elections, there were a total of 1,53,468 registered voters in this constituency, of which 85,473 were male and 67,996 female. In the 2019 Haryana Assembly elections, Mohan Lal Badoli of BJP won in this constituency beating Jai Tirath of INC by a margin of 2,662 votes which was 02.23% of the total votes cast. In 2014, Jai Tirath of INC was the winner in this seat beating Inderjeet of INLD by a margin of 3 votes which was 0% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Jai Tirath of INC won this seat defeating Inderjit of INLD by a margin of 4,666 votes which was 5.4% of the total votes polled for the seat.
