In the 2019 Haryana Assembly elections, Bishan Lal of INC won in this constituency beating Karan Dev of BJP by a margin of 2,541 votes which was 01.79% of the total votes cast. In 2014, Shyam Singh of BJP was the winner in this seat beating Raj Kumar Bubka of INLD by a margin of 38,707 votes which was 26.23% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Dr Bishan Lal Saini of INLD won this seat defeating Suresh Kumar of INC by a margin of 4,395 votes which was 3.82% of the total votes polled for the seat.
