In the 2019 Haryana Assembly elections, Balbir Singh of INC won in this constituency beating Krishan Lal Panwar of BJP by a margin of 20,015 votes which was 15.72% of the total votes cast. In 2014, Krishan Lal Panwar of BJP was the winner in this seat beating Balbir Singh of INC by a margin of 1,828 votes which was 1.48% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Krishan Lal Panwar of INLD won this seat defeating Balbir of INC by a margin of 2,180 votes which was 2.3% of the total votes polled for the seat.
