In the 2019 Haryana Assembly elections, Gian Chand Gupta of BJP won in this constituency beating Chander Mohan of INC by a margin of 5,633 votes which was 04.47% of the total votes cast. In 2014, Gian Chand Gupta of BJP was the winner in this seat beating Kul Bhushan Goyal of INLD by a margin of 44,602 votes which was 34.63% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Devender Kumar Bansal of INC won this seat defeating Yograj Singh of INLD by a margin of 12,260 votes which was 14.82% of the total votes polled for the seat.
