In the 2019 Haryana Assembly elections, Shamsher Singh Gogi of INC won in this constituency beating Narender Singh of BSP by a margin of 1,703 votes which was 01.11% of the total votes cast. In 2014, Bakhshish Singh Virk of BJP was the winner in this seat beating Maratha Virender Verma of BSP by a margin of 4,608 votes which was 2.92% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Pt Zile Ram Chochra of HJCBL won this seat defeating Raghbir Singh Virk of IND by a margin of 3,540 votes which was 2.76% of the total votes polled for the seat.
