Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) Satish Kumar Yadav is taking on Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader and Opposition’s CM face Tejashwi Yadav in a high-stakes battles in Raghopur. Satish has faced off with the RJD leader twice, losing each time. He lost with a margin of over 30,000 votes in 2020 and 20,000 votes in 2015. Raghopur has been Lalu family’s bastion for decades, with the only exception in 2010 when Satish defeated Rabri Devi by a margin of 13,000 votes.
