The geographic coordinates of Pedakurapadu Assembly constituency are: 16°34'48.0"N 80°08'49.9"E. Pedakurapadu shares its borders with six other Assembly constituencies. Other Andhra Pradesh Assembly constituencies adjacent to Pedakurapadu are: Mylavaram, Nandigama (SC), Jaggayyapeta, Tadikonda (SC), Sattenapalli, Gurazala. This constituency shares an inter-state border with: Telangana.

Demographic profile

There were a total of 2,29,084 registered voters on the electoral rolls for the 2024 Assembly election, of which 1,12,164 were male, 1,16,902 female and 18 of the third gender. In the 2019 Assembly elections, there were a total of 2,22,800 registered voters, of which 1,12,164 were male, 1,12,915 female and 21 of the third gender. In 2014 elections, there were a total of 2,01,155 registered voters in this constituency, of which 99,854 were male, 1,01,286 female and 15 of the third gender. In the 2009 polls, the number of total electors was 1,82,485 which included 89,633 male, and 92,852 female.

The number of service voters in Assembly constituency was 125 in 2019, 109 in 2014 and 109 in 2009.

In the 2019 Andhra Pradesh Assembly elections, Namburu Sankara Rao of YSRCP won in this constituency beating Kommalapati Sridhar of TDP by a margin of 14,104 votes which was 7.13% of the total votes cast. In 2014, Kommalapati Sridhar of TDP was the winner in this seat beating Bolla Brahmanaidu of YSRCP by a margin of 9,196 votes which was 5.13% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Kommalapati Sreedhar of TDP won this seat defeating Noorjahan of INC by a margin of 9,878 votes which was 6.53% of the total votes polled for the seat.
