There were a total of 2,23,101 registered voters on the electoral rolls for the 2024 Dundipuram Assembly election, of which 1,09,514 were male, 1,13,585 female and 2 of the third gender. In the 2019 Assembly elections, there were a total of 2,19,572 registered voters, of which 1,09,514 were male, 1,11,175 female and 11 of the third gender. In 2014 elections, there were a total of 2,02,248 registered voters in this constituency, of which 1,00,478 were male, 1,01,758 female and 12 of the third gender. In the 2009 polls, the number of total electors was 1,83,759 which included 90,259 male, and 93,500 female.

In the 2019 Andhra Pradesh Assembly elections, Mantena Ramaraju (Kalapudi Rambabu) of TDP won in this constituency beating P V L Narasimha Raju of YSRCP by a margin of 10,949 votes which was 5.88% of the total votes cast. In 2014, V V Siva Rama Raju (Kalavapudi Siva) of TDP was the winner in this seat beating Pathapati Sarraju of YSRCP by a margin of 36,231 votes which was 20.77% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, V V Siva Rama Raju (Kalavapudi Siva) of TDP won this seat defeating Pathapati Sarraju of INC by a margin of 15,748 votes which was 9.73% of the total votes polled for the seat.
